Redeveloping a fresh new look for one of the Palm's fondest food spots.

Creative Dialog delivered the site-wide wayfinding strategy for one of Dubai's most distinctive waterfront F&B and entertainment destinations.

Working across a 1.5km promenade split into two halves, the team realigned destination zoning, simplified nomenclature, and delivered a signage system that combines fine design detail with the unmistakable character of Palm life.

Objective


The Pointe is an entertainment and dining icon at the tip of Palm Jumeirah — a destination that brings visitors limitless choices, vibrant experiences and charming views. Located five kilometres out to sea, the venue enjoys cool sea breezes and stunning views around its 1.5km promenade, served by a 1,600-slot parking garage and accessible via the Palm Monorail.

Creative Dialog was approached to fix the site-wide navigation across a destination that required a unique response — one that would highlight and showcase the core waterfront F&B offer while still providing visitors with a usable navigation system from any point across the expansive venue.

Our Approach


Creative Dialog approached the brief as a strategic realignment exercise — addressing the fundamental zoning and nomenclature issues before designing a single piece of signage. The goal was to bring the two halves of the venue together and deliver a system that genuinely worked at promenade scale.

_We undertook an extensive and detailed site audit and visitor journey analysis to understand where navigation broke down across the venue's two halves.

_We realigned destination zoning and nomenclature across the full site to simplify visitor understanding and improve legibility before any visual design work began.

_We brought the two halves of the venue together through a unified wayfinding strategy that streamlines the visitor experience from any entry point.

_We developed super graphics and bespoke mapping that articulate the venue's scale and character at a glance.

_We designed a unique framed signage system that blends fine design details and considered materiality with the distinctive character of Palm life, drawing influences from nautical references.

_We delivered the resulting kit of parts as a bold design language tailored visually and technically to the built environment of an open-air waterfront promenade.

The Outcome


The completed system delivers a wayfinding programme that simplifies the visitor experience while reinforcing The Pointe's identity as a distinctive Palm Jumeirah waterfront destination. The framed signage family, super graphics and custom mapping work together as a coherent visual layer — bold enough to read at distance, refined enough to belong to the place.
