Nad Al Sheeba Dubai Wayfinding

Brand new navigation for one of Dubai’s most prestigious new developments.

Expertise: Wayfinding Strategy, Signage Design + Implementation

Nad Al Sheba Gardens is more than just a place to live, it encourages a new way of living altogether. With its meandering lanes and open front lawns, the private gated community is a luxury focussed residential destination in Dubai with superb amenities and lush well crafted surrounds.

Consisting of various premium villas, semi-detached villas and luxury townhouses inspired by comfort, nature, and privacy Nad Al Sheba Gardens comprises unique architecture and tones, designed in a contemporary style utilising clean, minimal contours to achieve a modern aesthetic.

A neighbourhood designed to flow around the people who live there. Double-height ceilings stretch over a luxurious open-plan design, creating spacious homes rich in natural light and expansive areas opening onto lush garden spaces.

Boasting amenities such as a Club House and Retail Hub, Education Campus and Adventure Play Area, along with an extensive Cycling Track that is complimented by Outdoor Gyms, Multi-Sport Arena and Sports Pitches & Courts as well as nature led Beekeeping And Community Farms with an Organic Market.

Collaborating with Dubai Holding and renowned landscape architects, SWA from New York, Creative Dialog was directly appointed to work with the Meraas development team to undertake a detailed wayfinding master plan and concept that would showcase the destination and provide a seamless visitor experience across this spectacular residential enclave.

As with all of our bespoke wayfinding programs, our approach was to put the visitor experience front and centre of the effort and to provide a seamless navigational system from users of all types from vehicular to pedestrian and cyclists.

Key to this exercise was to develop a shared yet stylish signage design that could be applied consistently across the whole community as it develops in stages.

This dual language wayfinding system features an organic look and feel with clean and legible typography, pictograms and graphics to allow for ease of understanding across a wide range of signage types that included both vehicular and pedestrian navigational needs.
