BOKA PLACE PORTO MONTENEGRO
SOPHISTICATED DESIGN MEETS LUXURY WATERFRONT HAVEN.

Boka Place is the flagship mixed use development of Morto Montenegro. Set across an idyllic and highly desirable location in southern Europe, the destination combines upscale living with aspirational shopping and dining experiences. Boka Place consists of a Siro Hotel, Siro Serviced Apartments, Boka Place Living, Private Residences, along with specialist shops, galleries and eateries clustered around the central square, a lively market and food hall, and a three-screen experience cinema making it one of the places to be in this locale.

Our approach was to enhance the visitor experience while respecting and embellishing the Boka Place brand, and seeking out an opportunity to provide a strong point of difference for the destination through the wayfinding program that is highly contextual and fits the aspiration of the development.

Taking a very close look at the navigational requirements of this relatively small but complex site and combining these learnings with a sophisticated materials palette we were able to deliver an overall signage family that is not only highly functional, but one that is intuitive and looks like it is a part of the fabric of the destination. Taking cues from the architectural vernacular, our pared back and minimalist style combines engineered stand stone with beautifully anodised formed aluminium signage faces and details with elegant graphics, a bespoke set of pictograms and a custom designed orientation map that is used across a tactical wayfinding tool kit.
