REBRANDING FESTIVAL CITY'S LATEST
LIFESTYLE DESTINATION.
Al Badia Terraces is the new residential enclave being developed by Al Futtaim Group Real Estate in Dubai Festival City. Set in lush, private landscaped gardens embraced by nature’s calm, Al Badia Residences in Dubai Festival City is an exclusive retreat comprising spacious low-rise apartments and Mediterranean-style townhouses.
Nestled within the greater Al Badia district and with close proximity to all of the amenities that DFC has to offer our approach was to focus on the notion of being ‘closer to everything you love’. Along with this tagline, Creative Dialog developed a series of one off Arabic inspired calligraphic artworks for use across a range of media and branding opportunities to deliver a two track visual identity system that can be switched between formal and fun. The use of calligraphy appeals to the Arabic speaking audience and promotes the notion of creativity, while delivering a highly unique visual approach not often associated with real estate marketing.
In all we see the final look and feel as being modern and elegant, with the dual language identity employing an open and approachable typography set that works well across both visual styles and is centred around the use of warm earthy tones paired with a deep blue that provides a distinctive and elevated feel.
For this exercise we developed a series of detailed collateral pieces that highlighted the close proximity of the community amenities as well as the central location of the community to key destinations within Dubai. These elements were further complimented by graphic floor plans and associated sales marketing materials to further embellish the brand positioning.
Finally, we developed a series of online applications such as a micro-site, social media graphic elements and related template layouts for digital use across a range of formats which were partnered by a series of outdoor applications that could be used in a variety of ways across advertising and signage formats.
ADOPTING A HIGHLY UNIQUE TWO TRACK VISUAL APPROACH WE INFUSED ARABIC CALLIGRAPHIC MOTIFS WITH MORE TRADITIONAL TYPOGRAPHY ELEMENTS.
THIS ALLOWED FOR A NUANCED & FLEXIBLE GRAPHIC LANGUAGE THAT COULD BE TACTICALLY ROLLED OUT BASED ON SELECTED AUDIENCES.
