Having identified some fairly serious gaps and concerns within the current system, Nakheel Malls turned to Creative Dialog to re-imagine and to reconfigure the entire wayfinding approach for their flagship retail destination - The Nakheel Mall.

Our strategic approach to this exciting project was to undertake a thorough site audit to provide the client an in depth review of the site’s navigation as it related to the visitor experience.

This exercise was then advanced through detailed pedestrian and vehicular circulation modelling to arrive at a series of critical observations and recommendations that would help drive improvement across the each touch point of the visitor journey. This resulted in redefining the core logic and nomenclature that underpins the visitor navigation leading to a simplified and far more intuitive wayfinding system being implemented to the benefit of both end user and client.

In design terms, our visual approach both inside and outside the centre picks up on the eclectic and vibrant positioning of the destination and adds a touch of luxury to deliver a look and feel that fits perfectly with the aspirational nature of the mall.
